Thanks!
So I want to say thank you because I think this is the year in which I have learnt the most English.
I have also advanced in grammar concepts that I didn't remember and now I know them but I don't pay attention to them, I also think that I have taken a big step in writing, maybe because of the blog, also because I had to be with my colleagues from other places, ah and the synonyms are very important, reading I have understood that focusing on the key words is very useful and they help me a lot. So thank you, because it has given me the push to continue with English which is not the language I like the most but it has helped me to get a hope for this one.

So why don't you try to do the same as him with words in your own language and try to explain them to foreigners in English.

Peaky Blinders
Peaky Blinders Season 6 is here, YESSSS!!!
We can already see season 6, which premiered on 27th February.
Is a British period crime drama television series. Set in Birmingham, it follows the exploits of the Peaky Blinders crime gang in the direct aftermath of the First World War. The fictional gang is based on a real urban youth gang of the same name who was active in the city from the 1890s to 1910.
Season 1: The hang comes to attention Major Chester Campbell, a detective chief inspector in the Royal Irish sent over by Winston Churchill from Belfast. Winston Churchillcharged him with suppressing disorder and uprising in Birmingham and recovering a stolen cache of arms meant to be shipped to Libya. The season first concluded on 3 December 1919, the event where the Peaky Blinders plan to take over Billy Kimber's betting pitches at the Worcester Races.Season 2: the Peaky Blinders expand their criminal organization in the South and North while maintaining a stronghold in their Birmingham heartland. It begins in 1921 and ends with a climax at Epsom racecourse on 31 May 1922, Derby Day.
Season 3: starts and ends in 1924, as it follows Tommy and the gang entering an even more dangerous world as they once again expand, this time internationally.
Season 4: on Christmas Eve 1925, and ends following the general strike of May 1926, with Tommy using Jessie Eden for information and being elected as a Member of Parliament in 1927.
Season 5:the morning after a rally led by fascist leader Oswald Mosley.
Plot about season 6
The gang who sew razor blades in the peaks of their caps are Peaky Blinders, and their boss is Tommy Shelby. After serving in the British army during World War I, Shelby along with his gang controls the city of Birmingham but is aspiring beyond that. The Season six begins on 5th December 1933. The prohibition of the United States of America ends, and the Nazi part seized the power of Germany. It leads to an increase in the membership of the British Union of Fascists over there. Tommy sets of to North America but faces new dangers from an old adversary, finally making his move.

Why watch it?
Even the English is a bit complicated to understand, it's worth watching.
For their scenery:
The post-World War I industrial environment in Birmingham overrun by gangs and crime is carefully crafted to the millimeter. There is a lot of history behind Peaky Blinders, and the composition must be a key part of immersing the viewer if it is not to fall into the realm of soap opera. The characters enter and leave the scene as if it were a small play. As if each set and artwork were a separate section within the overall composition of the series.
For their soundtrack:
Red Right Hand by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, the song that accompanies each episode's intro gives us clues as to what we're going to see: a slow-paced, up-and-down series with lots of characters smoking. And of the parade of the whole Shelby family.
Values:
- Life doesn't give you anything for free. Don't give up no matter what happens.
- Unity is strength.
- The leader sacrifices himself for others. Being the capo or pater familias is a tougher role than we think.
- If we stop listening to women we will lose ourselves.
- The bond with animals can be as great or greater than with people.

- We must give way to the youngest.

Exam
Well, I think that this exam was worse than the last one, as far as vocabulary is concerned I wasn't right and as far as synonyms and antonyms are concerned, in the first one I put the ones that sounded familiar and antonyms the ones I knew. In grammar, even if I had worked hard, I am still not able to differentiate which modal or which tense I have to use or the form of conditionals. I admit that I didn't do well in the exam, but little by little everything can be improved.

Bridgerton
Hello, today I want to recommend a series another period based on the books of Julia Quinn which have the same name as the series set in the high society of London 1813 where young girls were introduced to society and Queen to find a husband.
Two families fighting:
The Bridgerton family consists of Violet, Dowager Viscountess Bridgerton, her four sons Anthony, Benedict, Colin and Gregory, and her four daughters Daphne, Eloise, Francesca and Hyacinth.
The Featherington family consists of Lady Portia Featherington, her husband Baron Archibald Featherington and their three daughters, Philippa, Prudence and Penelope, and a distant cousin, Marina Thompson.
Daphne Bridgerton, the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family, makes her debut in London's competitive Regency marriage market. Both her family and she hopes she can follow in her parents' footsteps and find true love, but all begins to crumble when a scandal-ridden diary of high society scandals written by the mysterious Lady Whistledown surfaces and casts aspersions on Daphne.
The entry of the rebellious Duke of Hastings, the season's most eligible bachelor, provides an escape valve for the two, as they decide to team up in an escalating battle of wits to circumvent social expectations about their future.
Now, this year's the second season will premiere soon on March 25 and can be found on Nextlix. I loved it for the love and heartbreak scenes between Daphne and the Duke of Hastings, the dresses, and the plot around the mysterious Lady Whistledown.

Halloween
This Sunday is Halloween so, I will give you some information and vocabulary that you can use that night.
Halloween is a holiday to remember the dead. Originally Halloween was a holiday pagan of a Celtic origin. The ancient Celts believed that during the night the spirit of the dead came back to life so they decorated their houses with bones and skulls, for the ghost passed by.
Among the customs on the night of Halloween, the most important is to decorate the houses with elements relative to the dead or beyond. People costume different creatures like zombies, skeletons…
Another custom is the famous Trick or Treat, which is a custom on the night of Halloween, during that night, the children are in costume and are asking for sweets from house to house using this famous sentence. This means that if they don’t receive any sweets they will do some pranks.
